Fourteenth Amendment is not on trial!

“All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and the States wherein they reside.”      Very clear wording.

Complete jurisdiction thereof, not owing allegiance to anybody else.   Foreign countries we make treaties with are not subject to our jurisdiction or laws and only those who come completely within jurisdiction, those are subject to our laws.  Sen L. Trumbull, Chair of Judiciary and author of the Thirteenth Amendment settles the matter

There is only one path       for which an alien can come under the jurisdiction of the U.S. for the purposes of citizenship:  Through naturalization that, among other things, requires a person to renounce all allegiance to their country of origin

Naturalization Oath of Allegiance to the United States of America

Oath reads in part:    I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely

renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince,

potentate, state or sovereignty, of whom or which I have

theretofore been subject or citizen…..

THE NATURALIZATION OATH  brings non–citizens of the U.S. ‘under the jurisdiction of the United States’     When one owes allegiance to another foreign sovereignty they cannot be found to be under the sovereign jurisdiction of another country 

The OATH leaves no room for dual-citizenship scam

CONCLUSION:   If the U.S. does not have complete jurisdiction, as to compel a child’s parents to Jury Duty – then the U.S. does not have the total and complete jurisdiction demanded by the Fourteenth Amendment to make their child a citizen of the U.S. by birth. 

MEXICAN CONSTITUTION DEFINES CITIZENSHIP

We must honor Chapter II, Article 30 paragraph II, which states that sons or daughters born on foreign territory to a Mexican citizen remain Mexican citizens.  The children born in the U.S. remain nationals until they swear allegiance to the USA.

SB 898   has made it through Committee Process.  Bill now needs to be put on the calendar for full senate floor vote

Senate Bill 898    would require that state citizens be born in the U.S.; be a resident of Oklahoma; be the child of at least one parent who owes no allegiance to any foreign sovereignty, or be a child without citizenship or nationality in any foreign country.    Senator Shortey said the denial of Oklahoma citizenship would prohibit illegal immigrants from owning property.
